Google will launch its premium Pixel C tablet with Android Marshmallow later this year. Android tablets have been successful and received well by consumers worldwide however it hasn’t been able to reach out like Apple iPad. One of the main reasons for this is because consumers believe Android apps are not optimized for larger screen sizes while iOS apps are developed for the same. This time Google is planning to change this thought of consumers with their new device that will be launched later in the year.
Specs of Pixel C Tablet
Chromebook Pixel laptops were high end devices that were received well by consumers worldwide and Pixel C tablet will also be aimed at developers. There is news the 10.2-inch tablet will be launched later in the year however there are possibilities the company might reveal the product at the Nexus event on Tuesday.
Pixel C tablet will be sleek in appearance with metallic look. It will have Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) than the chrome operating system which has been the company’s laptop based OS. Google will not partner with a hardware manufacturer this time as it does for other devices. The Pixel C tablet will not feature any other manufacturer’s logo. The tablet is likely to be more costly than any Android tablet.
The tablet comes with detachable keyboards with leather and aluminum finishes. It has USB-C port to charge like the company’s latest chrome book and Nexus 6P phones. It will also have a light bar for battery status. Pixel C tablet will have 308 pixels per inch, NVidia X1 quad-core processor, 3 GB RAM and a bright backlight.
