After the high speculation of the next electric cars to be unveiled by the BMW company, the BMW i5 Electric Crossover emerged among the cars to be released by the BMW automotive company. According to the latest viable news, the BMW Company is planning to release the following models of electric vehicles. i.e. 2018, 2019 and 2020 models. The BMW i3 and the BMW i8 are already officially announced and thus follows that the BMW i5 electric crossover SUV might become the next big thing for the company to work on.
According to the various speculations from viable sources the BMW i5 Electric Crossover SUV might be designed with a range extender and the body made of sturdy carbon-fibre. The EV will be an all-electric vehicle that will have a mileage range of around 240 miles per a single charge. The SUV will be a four-wheel drive, and this will be the first four-wheel drive all electric vehicle so as to cater for regions that are covered with snow. According to this specifications then the BMW i5 Electric Crossover will be powered by an 80 kWh battery that renders a power of around 300 hp. The SUV might also be equipped with a supercharging facility that can charge at a rate of 150 kW rate. The design concept of the vehicle is not yet unveiled.
