On Monday Micromax launched two smartphones in the “Canvas Selfie” series, named Canvas Selfie 2 and Canvas Selfie 3. From August 22, the Canvas would be available online at a price tag of Rs. 5,999.

Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 which has Android 5.0 Lollipop version features 5-inch FWVGA IPS display with 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It has 8 GB inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via MicroSD card. Canvas Selfie 2 has a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with OV5648 sensor, 4P Largan Lens and an LED flash with a 2000 mAh battery.
Micromax Canvas Selfie 3 features a 4.8-inch HD Amoled IPS Display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1 GB of DDR2 RAM. Its Android version is not specified yet. It has 8 GB inbuilt storage with an expandable storage support via MicroSD card.
Canvas Selfie 3 has a 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with Blue Glasses and 5P Largan Lens, and an LED flash. The front-facing camera has an additional feature of taking selfie at 78-degree wide-angle with a lot of features like Face Beauty, One Key Shot, Night Shot and Gesture Shot.
The colors in which the handset would be available are Green, Blue, Sky Blue, Yellow and Purple. It has a 2300mAh battery which is slightly bigger than Canvas Selfie 2.
